Here are a few things the 3rd year student will know how to do, it really is amazing how much of a pianist and total musician they will become:
*Identify note names on staff
*Take simple melodic dictation (write tune when heard)
*Take simple rhythmic dictation
*Play accompaniment while singing
*Sight-read melodies on the piano
*Transpose beginning level pieces
*Play intermediate level pieces
*Improvise on a melody
*Play tonic, dominant and sub-dominant chords in various major keys
*Compose a melody and add chordal accompaniment
Classes: Once a week throughout the school year, parent attends once a month
Recital: in May, TBA
Class Size and Duration: 5-6 children, 55 minutes long
Tuition: $220 per semester OR four $55 monthly installments each semester (due every 4 weeks.)
Registration and Materials Fee: $78 for entire year (includes registration fee & two each of the following: Home Study CDs, Piano Songbooks, Lesson Guides, weekly Theory Assignments and Flashcards)
Siblings Fee: $53 (materials & registration)
Mandatory Parent Orientation Meeting: The week prior to the first week of classes
Class Holidays: No class during Major Holidays, School Breaks, Winter Break, Spring Break; class calendar distributed at Parent Meeting

Tuition Due on the First Day of Class in August
